This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of our clients' customer identity, authentication, registration, and onboarding experience within the free streaming platform.
• Oversee the essential initial customer journey—from account setup and login to activation and engagement in the free streaming service.
• Develop and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Identity & Authentication as well as the free streaming platform.
• Balance customer requirements, business goals, technical limitations, and delivery schedules when prioritizing projects.
• Spot opportunities to enhance acquisition, activation, conversion, authentication success, and customer retention.
• Advocate for customer-centric decision-making while aligning product investments with the organization's objectives.
• Lead product strategy and roadmap decisions aimed at minimizing customer friction and enhancing activation, engagement, and conversion outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize onboarding processes and eliminate obstacles to account creation and content access.
• Create and manage KPI frameworks for identity and onboarding experiences, including Authentication Success Rate, Account Creation Completion, Onboarding Funnel Conversion, Activation Rate, Subscriber Conversion, and Customer Retention Metrics.
• Compare DIRECTV experiences with industry leaders to uncover differentiation opportunities.
• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative insights to foster ongoing product enhancement and prioritization decisions.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in Product Management with a proven track record in overseeing complex digital products and customer experiences.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing products throughout the entire lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and optimization.
• Proficient in crafting detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Advanced analytical skills, including KPI development, dashboard creation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in MVPD, OTT Streaming, SVOD, AVOD, Digital Media, or Connected TV sectors.
• Familiarity with contemporary AI tools and workflows (such as ChatGPT), including utilizing generative AI platforms for product documentation, requirements formulation, roadmap planning, competitive analysis, and product strategy development.
• Experience using AI-driven tools for prototyping, product discovery, workflow automation, or optimizing customer experiences is an advantage.
• Strong grasp of managed and unmanaged connected device platforms as well as third-party streaming environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to translate intricate technical concepts into understandable business narratives.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
• Demonstrated capability to create, manage, and convey product roadmaps to both executive and technical audiences.
• Candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are strongly preferred: Streaming Platforms, MVPD Providers, OTT Media Companies, Connected TV Ecosystems, Subscription-Based Digital Products, Telecommunications Providers, Digital Consumer Applications.
• Preferred Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
