Lead Product Manager, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Spearhead product strategy and execution for AI-enhanced member experiences

• Determine the application of AI capabilities throughout the member journey

• Manage product roadmaps for features driven by AI

• Develop human-in-the-loop workflows and fallback procedures

• Establish evaluation frameworks to assess the quality of AI products

• Facilitate discovery and ideation for innovative AI-enabled capabilities

• Leverage data, experimentation, and user insights to evaluate the performance of AI features

• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define AI initiatives

• Lead a cross-disciplinary team comprising engineers, designers, and data scientists

• Remain informed about the rapidly changing landscape of AI

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 2 years in leading AI-focused product development

• Proven track record of guiding AI products from conception to launch

• Profound understanding of AI agents and agentic architectures

• Strong instincts for developing trustworthy AI solutions

• Experience in creating AI product quality metrics that extend beyond traditional A/B testing

• Experience as a founder or in building products from the ground up is highly desirable

• Proficiency in SQL for independent data analysis

• Strong design and UX sensibilities, particularly for AI-powered interfaces

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Ability to articulate AI trade-offs, risks, and limitations to diverse business audiences

• Experience working collaboratively across engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders

• Familiarity with AI safety, responsible AI practices, and healthcare-specific considerations is an added advantage

• Experience in startup environments is a plus
