Lead Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of essential software solutions for the business.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to comprehend intricate business challenges.

• Facilitate requirements analysis sessions to pinpoint gaps, risks, dependencies, and areas for enhancement.

• Convert complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.

• Guide the segmentation of epics and initiatives into clearly defined user stories and technical tasks.

• Ensure that requirements are well-articulated, actionable, and aligned with product objectives.

• Spearhead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications and backend services.

• Set and uphold coding standards, development practices, and architectural guidelines.

• Mentor and guide Product Engineers across all experience levels.

• Work closely with Product Management, QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and other engineering teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of software development experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership, team leadership, or as a lead developer.

• Proficiency in: PHP, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Experience in designing and developing web-based enterprise applications.

• Background in conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.

• Proven experience in leading requirements analysis, solution design, and Agile delivery initiatives.

• A strong record of delivering sophisticated software solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Preferred experience in healthcare technology, with a solid understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical systems, revenue cycle management, payer-provider interactions, or healthcare operations.

• Preferred experience in designing and implementing healthcare interoperability solutions utilizing HL7, FHIR, X12, Healthcare APIs, and data integration frameworks.

• Preferred experience in architecting or integrating solutions with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech, Allscripts/Veradigm).

• Preferred experience in identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions.
