Lead Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams, along with cross-functional partners such as marketing, customer experience, and internal operations.

• Ensure a seamless, high-quality user experience for both consumers and internal users.

• Establish repeatable systems and guidelines that facilitate design scalability throughout the organization.

• Create user-centered design solutions informed by research, member insights, and industry best practices.

• Present design concepts and effectively communicate design intent through detailed design specifications and presentation materials.

• Articulate, negotiate, and refine design requirements in partnership with product managers and engineers to achieve optimal design solutions.

• Take ownership of and continually improve our design system, advocating for scalable design solutions across product, brand, and marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in user experience design within a product-focused organization.

• Proven ability to lead the creation and prototyping of entirely new products as well as feature enhancements, all guided by a user-centered design process.

• Possess a design mindset that is informed by user feedback and data.

• Extensive experience in conceptualizing, planning, and executing user research projects.

• Excellent writing skills to concisely share insights and effectively present a case for a particular course of action.

• Proficient in designing for both web and mobile platforms.

• Understanding of the unique technical and usability challenges involved in designing for desktop and mobile environments.
