Lead Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and advance the product analytics function.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.

• Proactively determine what requires analysis, validation, or challenge without waiting for requests from Product or Leadership.

• Conduct in-depth product analysis to uncover growth and optimization opportunities.

• Lead product decisions driven by data rather than merely responding to ad-hoc inquiries.

• Design event tracking from the ground up and ensure scalable, reliable analytics instrumentation.

• Maintain data quality and consistency of metrics across the product.

• Enhance and optimize the DWH layer, including data modeling and performance tuning.

• Create and sustain dashboards and analytical layers.

• Develop product metrics, frameworks, and measurement methodologies.

• Assist teams in making quicker and more informed product decisions through data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in product analytics at a Senior or Lead level.

• A very hands-on approach, comfortable with data exploration independently.

• Proficient SQL skills with experience in crafting complex, optimized queries.

• Strong Python capabilities for analytics and data processing tasks.

• Solid familiarity with BI tools, specifically Tableau.

• Experience in building event tracking systems from scratch.

• Comprehensive understanding of DWH design and optimization practices.

• Strong grasp of A/B testing methodologies, including bootstrapping, sequential testing, multi-armed bandits, and causal inference.

• Practical experience applying ML techniques to analytics and product challenges.

• A product-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into valuable business and product insights.

• Bonus Points: Experience with video streaming products, working on recommendation systems, optimizing product funnels and user journeys, and experience in rapidly growing product companies.
