This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Drive new enterprise partnerships that align with WGU’s mission and strategic goals.
• Lead consultative business development efforts with C-suite executives and national decision-makers.
• Create innovative proposals, campaigns, and workforce solutions to meet large-scale talent demands.
• Represent WGU at significant industry events, conferences, and partner councils.
• Mentor and guide Account Executives and Senior Account Executives on best practices in enterprise sales.
• Collaborate closely with Partner Success teams to ensure seamless transitions and long-term partner success.
• Contribute to the national pipeline strategy, market expansion efforts, and the development of new verticals.
• Advanced consultative sales and partnership acquisition expertise.
• Executive presence with the capability to influence senior leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of workforce development, higher education, and talent ecosystems.
• Proven ability to develop customized value propositions that yield measurable ROI.
• Strong dedication to student-centered outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
• Previous experience in the higher education sector (Bonus Points).
• Extensive experience in acquisition-focused roles (Bonus Points).
• Demonstrated success in establishing partnerships with large organizations (1,000+ employees) (Bonus Points).
• Proven history in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships across various industries (Bonus Points).
• Established professional network with strong industry credibility (Bonus Points).
• Experience in lieu of education: Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this role may be accepted as a substitute for educational requirements. Typically, one year of relevant experience may be considered equivalent to one year of education, at the hiring manager's discretion.
