This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing, product, and communications teams to create and implement motion graphics that align with campaign strategies and business goals.
• Conceptualize and produce high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics for various campaigns, events, product launches, and brand activations, overseeing projects from the initial idea to final execution.
• Animate 3D models and scenes with a focus on timing, pacing, camera work, and storytelling.
• Contribute to the visual direction, layout concepts, and design exploration, ensuring that motion remains a central element of our brand presentation across both digital and physical platforms.
• Utilize Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma seamlessly to realize creative ideas.
• Assist in the evolution of Whatnot’s motion language through innovation and exploration, remaining ahead of trends, new tools, and industry best practices to keep our motion graphics vibrant, effective, and culturally relevant.
• Produce polished, production-ready outputs within tight deadlines while upholding a high level of craftsmanship.
• 5–8+ years of experience in motion design.
• A portfolio that demonstrates highly refined motion design work across branding, campaigns, and digital experiences.
• Expert-level skills in Adobe After Effects.
• Strong proficiency in Cinema 4D/Redshift.
• Ability to deliver meticulous, detail-focused work within tight deadlines.
• Confidence in working closely with designers, marketers, and creative leaders to bring ideas to fruition.
