This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee piping and mechanical equipment such as turbines, boilers, pumps, and other components of power plants.
• Lead the troubleshooting and diagnostic processes to detect and resolve intricate mechanical challenges.
• Work in collaboration with engineering, operations, and safety teams to strategize and execute maintenance tasks.
• Develop, implement, and uphold safety protocols and procedures.
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of equipment while managing enhancements, upgrades, and modifications.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, equipment conditions, and performance indicators.
• Provide technical direction and support to plant operators, maintenance teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensure that installed progress and work products are in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Identify and report variances or changes in work placement.
• Monitor work progress and document significant activity developments in daily reports.
• Engage with partners and project stakeholders to address issues and create innovative solutions to project challenges.
• At least 12 years of experience in mechanical operations and maintenance within the power generation sector.
• Demonstrated history of leadership and management.
• In-depth technical knowledge of power plant piping and equipment systems, including turbines, boilers, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Expertise in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic methods for mechanical systems.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices concerning power plant operations, maintenance, and safety.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work across various locations in the United States.
