This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Oversee the coordination, planning, and execution of testing for marketing data products.
• Validate data to ensure that business requirements are accurately developed without introducing defects.
• Generate test data for effective data validation.
• Document and address complex issues while providing resolution updates to management.
• Enhance testing processes and suggest future configurations.
• Guide product owners in improving requirement details to minimize defects in lower environments.
• Conduct workflow analysis and propose quality enhancements.
• Manage the testing validation lifecycle for data products that support marketing initiatives, customer acquisition, member identification and profile management, as well as patient onboarding, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Define and prioritize validation scenarios and test cases for data products.
• Collaborate with product owners and data stewards to comprehend user stories and ensure comprehensive testing.
• Draft test cases and test steps in Azure DevOps, incorporating both positive and negative scenarios.
• Coordinate with development teams and scrum leaders regarding release scope and communications with stakeholders.
• Take ownership of data product test plans and construct release test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Recommend testing priorities to align with release commitments.
• Collaborate with product owners on strategic roadmaps and operational and regulatory requirements.
• Write and modify SQL queries for data validation, product performance analysis, and collaboration with analytics teams and downstream data consumers.
• Act as the primary liaison for Agile delivery teams throughout test planning, test case execution, and test data creation.
• Manage testing timelines and communicate progress, obstacles, and delivery milestones.
• Remove testing impediments, including access requests, missing test data, missing supporting data, and clarifications of requirements.
• Validate requirements, accept completed work, and ensure deliverables satisfy acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering, analytics, enterprise stakeholders, upstream/downstream systems, and vendors to provide validated, scalable data-driven solutions.
• Monitor usage, adoption, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization opportunities.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for operational issues related to Marketing Data Products.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in documentation and reporting systems for testing.
• Ensure solutions adhere to relevant regulatory and legal standards.
• Create and maintain documentation that outlines test plans, test cases, test steps, testing support requirements, and testing execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in quality engineering, testing validation, quality assurance, or a similar role in a data-driven environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in project, product, or testing leadership.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Proficient in writing test cases, test planning, test data creation, test execution, and evaluating testing outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize testing in alignment with business strategies and planned product deliveries.
• Experience managing test plans, coordinating testing across teams, and tracking testing outcomes to recommend improvements for defect reduction.
• Knowledge of data platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, analytics, and business teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to act as a first responder for operational issues.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with the capability to write and modify queries for data validation and performance analysis.
• Proactive and assertive in keeping progress on track through continued follow-up.
• A passion for enhancing consumer experiences.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident; sponsorship is not available.
• Availability to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
• Ability to meet home internet requirements of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Must work from a dedicated space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Preferred: Experience with Databricks.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field or an MBA focused on marketing or technology.
• Preferred: Understanding of marketing data ecosystems, segmentation, targeting, and campaign measurement.
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise-level marketing IT systems and vendor-managed solutions.
• Preferred: Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and growth strategies.
• Preferred: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Preferred: Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating upstream data sources.
• Preferred: Involvement in data user story acceptance testing and post-production validation.
• Preferred: Agile Product Ownership certification such as CSPO or SAFe POPM.
