Lead Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the team to promote skill enhancement and the adoption of best practices.

• Guide the development of SPECs while ensuring comprehensive documentation.

• Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring that technical and business objectives are in harmony.

• Design and optimize data and machine learning solutions, incorporating best practices for scalability and monitoring.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of data pipelines and models—from exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to deployment and ongoing enhancement.

• Create Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate and refine proposed solutions.

• Enhance performance, latency, memory usage, and throughput across data systems.

• Design and sustain feature stores and data pipelines to facilitate workflows.

• Investigate and implement emerging technologies to improve solutions.

• Engage in candidate interviews and assessments to support Mutt's growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams on data projects, guiding technical choices, and nurturing team development.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and aligning priorities across teams.

• Experience in implementing machine learning-based systems, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and setting up MLOps pipelines.

• Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Plotly).

• Familiarity with SQL.

• Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
