This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily management of the Large Form Factor MDC product line, ensuring successful delivery.
• Implement the segment strategy developed in collaboration with the GM of Form Factors, ensuring it aligns with Armada's overall platform and growth goals.
• Create operational rhythms, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability frameworks to ensure reliable execution.
• Offer insights to the GM regarding pricing, prioritization of investments, capacity planning, and scaling strategies.
• Direct the comprehensive product development process, covering system architecture, mechanical and electrical design, thermal systems, integration, and certification.
• Guarantee that designs are manufacturable, scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with international standards (UL, IEC, NEC, ISO, etc.).
• Promote standardization and modularity while retaining the flexibility to accommodate customer-specific needs.
• Balance the pace of innovation with reliability, quality, and time-to-market considerations.
• Manage manufacturing operations for large-scale modular data center systems, including the execution of factory strategies (both internal and external), capacity scaling, and throughput optimization in partnership with stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance repeatable production processes, ensuring quality, adherence to schedules, and cost management.
• Collaborate with supply chain leadership on sourcing and execution for long-lead and critical components (power, cooling, steel, switchgear, IT infrastructure).
• Establish robust quality management systems, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare the organization for rapid growth while upholding excellence in delivery.
• Convert customer demand and pipeline indicators into actionable production, staffing, and capital plans.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Program Management to facilitate complex customer deployments.
• Oversee the execution of contracts, delivery obligations, risk management, and change control processes.
• Enhance scalable business processes related to quoting, cost modeling, order management, and delivery.
• Collaborate with and mentor colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to foster high performance.
• Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Assist in recruitment efforts to attract top technical and operational talent for a premier modular infrastructure product line.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, engineering, or product execution roles, ideally within infrastructure and/or data centers.
• Practical experience supporting a hardware or systems product as it transitions from early growth to higher-volume production.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and cost control strategies.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams encompassing engineering, operations, and commercial sectors.
• Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders throughout the organization.
