Lead Instructor, Data Center Technician – Japanese Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Lead Instructors at Correlation One are tasked with delivering exceptional, live, virtual instruction while collaborating with company staff to enhance learning outcomes.

• Their primary role as educators involves conducting large synchronous online lectures on technical subjects, training a diverse range of learners from 100 to over 8,000 participants, depending on the program.

• This position requires preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, working in partnership with operations staff, and contributing to the program's overall success.

• Work closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure seamless program execution and compliance with schedules.

• Be adaptable in participating in classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules may vary.

• Support lesson design, development, and enhancement, which may involve tracking edits, suggestions, or modifications to the curriculum as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• CDCP® – Certified Data Center Professional from EPI

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English

• Experience in physical data centers or similar environments

• Strong background in teaching, training, facilitation, coaching, or onboarding, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to beginner learners

• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to engage and support adult learners from diverse backgrounds

• Experience in mentoring, supervising, or leading technical teams is advantageous, particularly for candidates with limited formal teaching experience

• A keen interest in aiding learners' transition into careers in data center operations and infrastructure

• Empathy, adaptability, patience, and a learner-centered approach

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar foundational IT certifications are a plus
