Lead Installer, Telecommunications Central Office

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive installation, reconfiguration/integration, removal, and upkeep of Central Office and Data Center equipment.

• Oversee the performance and activities of assigned crew members.

• Demonstrate expertise in installation skills according to Telco Standard TP76300 and competently execute all Installer Level 4 responsibilities.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of AC/DC power systems, low/high-density fiber systems, and Central Office infrastructure.

• Interpret and adhere to Method of Procedures, order specifications, floor plans, equipment, and wiring documentation.

• Ensure compliance with system update requirements as specified in installation documents.

• Conduct in-process and final quality audits to verify adherence to standards.

• Perform testing and document the performance characteristics of both hardware and software.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8+ years of installation experience or a combination of experience and training as determined by company management.

• High school diploma along with two years of technical school or a combination of training and experience related to the communications installation field totaling eight years or more.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

• Must hold a valid driver’s license, pass all pre-employment background checks, and be insurable. A valid passport is an advantage.

• Thorough understanding of all company/customer policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

• Strong laptop computer skills and experience with relevant applications are mandatory.
