Lead Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and execute security solutions.

• Convert architectural designs into practical implementations across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network environments.

• Establish technical strategies for deploying and integrating security controls.

• Develop and enhance security systems.

• Implement and configure security technologies (e.g., IAM, endpoint, SASE, vulnerability management).

• Create automation and integrations using scripting and APIs to bridge functional gaps and enhance scalability.

• Propel system integration and platform advancement.

• Enhance interoperability among tools to establish cohesive security capabilities.

• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in security engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering.

• Experience in deploying and managing security technologies (e.g., IAM, EDR, network security, cloud security tools).

• Practical experience with Linux system administration.

• Proficiency in scripting/automation to facilitate system integration and operational efficiency.

• Strong grasp of networking and system architecture fundamentals.

• Familiarity with security technologies and domains.
