Lead GoLang AWS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Accountable for delivering hands-on agile technology leadership for the team focused on developing and managing cloud-based applications utilizing Go and AWS technologies.

• Over 6 years of professional experience.

• Proven track record as a technical leader with a broad impact across teams.

• Experience in guiding development teams within an agile framework.

• Proficient in breaking down and delegating tasks to team members.

• Capable of resolving obstacles, assisting developers out of challenging situations, and ensuring continuous progress.

• Expertise in GoLang and its associated frameworks.

• Practical experience with AWS services such as RKS, MSK, EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD processes.

• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging and queueing frameworks.

• Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API design and development.

• Experience in an Agile team setting.

• English language proficiency at B2 level (upper-intermediate) or above, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional contexts, both written and verbally.
