This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Design and develop a comprehensive platform, including a web portal, RESTful APIs, CLI, and data pipelines for forecasting demand and managing the lifecycle of cloud infrastructure.
β’ Create intricate, configurable workflow engines that facilitate a multi-stage demand forecasting lifecycle, complete with SLA tracking, automated routing, and notification triggers.
β’ Construct a demand normalization and validation layer that standardizes hardware SKUs, translates bare metal demand into marketable units, and verifies submissions against real-time constraints such as data center power/space, budget, and lead times.
β’ Develop a hierarchical forecast aggregation process that spans business units, geographical locations, resource categories, time horizons, and scenario types (baseline, stretch, low-case).
β’ Generate executive dashboards and reporting modules featuring drill-down capabilities, variance tracking (forecast versus actual), exception queue management, and multi-format outputs (CSV, JSON, Excel, API).
β’ Integrate predictive analytics functionalities, including time series analysis, seasonal decomposition, machine learning-based demand prediction, and confidence interval assessment.
β’ Design with scalability and reliability in mind.
β’ Manage security and access control, including SSO integration, granular RBAC, encryption both at rest and in transit, and comprehensive audit logging with observability integration.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on developing enterprise-grade internal tools or planning/forecasting platforms.
β’ Extensive experience transitioning from legacy systems (such as spreadsheets and fragmented portals) to modern, unified web applications.
β’ Profound expertise in full-stack development, encompassing both backend services and frontend interfaces comprehensively.
β’ Demonstrated success in designing and implementing sophisticated stateful workflow engines featuring multi-level approval processes, configurable routing, and SLA enforcement.
β’ Proficient in building RESTful APIs with versioning, rate limiting, thorough error handling, and interactive documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
β’ Strong skills in data engineering: including ETL pipelines, data normalization, validation frameworks, and integration with data lakes.
β’ Experience with role-based access control systems and enterprise SSO (SAML/OIDC).
β’ Solid grasp of relational database design, query optimization, and data archival methods.
