This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Flutter Software Team to achieve results through coaching, developing, and managing team members.
• Serve as an effective technical leader by example, mentoring the Flutter development team and applying your expertise to direct the design, development, and maintenance of goTenna mobile applications.
• Evaluate new product requirements for goTenna mobile apps, then design and implement the data model, control, and customer-facing components for those features.
• Ensure the highest quality and performance of goTenna’s mobile software by guiding the Flutter Software Team in producing exceptional code.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, QA, and product management teams to define, implement, and launch new features.
• Guarantee the utmost quality and performance of goTenna’s mobile applications.
• Design and develop SDKs for both internal and third-party developers.
• Provide engineering support for customer issues and general problem-solving.
• Assist product managers in addressing technical inquiries from customers.
• Release mobile applications and track performance in the Play Store & App Store using Cocoapods, Firebase, Gradle/Maven, Git, and Android Studio developer tools.
• Over 8 years of mobile software engineering experience.
• More than 2 years of experience managing mobile software engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Proficient in MVVM and similar Mobile Architecture.
• Experience with Flutter development.
• Skilled in developing multithreaded applications, performance tuning, and debugging.
• Experience collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces.
• Familiarity with developer tools such as Firebase, Maven, Gradle, Git, and Android Studio.
• Proven experience mentoring and supporting peers while promoting best engineering practices.
• Knowledge of Jira and Agile/Lean development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in proactively resolving technical challenges.
• Understanding of design patterns.
• Experience with Riverpod.
• Proficient in UML diagrams.
• Familiarity with Dart Futures.
