Lead, Finance Analytics & Enablement, AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver actionable insights that influence business decisions through finance and data analytics.

• Take ownership of the data warehouse strategy, governance, and implementation of the finance ledger.

• Develop and lead a Center of Excellence for reporting, including managing infrastructure and metrics across finance and various business units.

• Create, manage, implement, and monitor the success of the Finance AI automation roadmap in collaboration with FP&A, accounting, and data teams.

• Establish the foundation for data pipelines and AI models.

• Collaborate with engineering and Financial Operations to understand and optimize GCP infrastructure costs.

• Position Finance as the definitive source of truth for financial and business performance, enabling self-service analytics for key stakeholders.

• Oversee a team comprising 4 engineers and 1 finance and strategy manager.

• Establish internal controls and assist with external audits related to data governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of work experience in the travel and/or SaaS industries.

• Bachelor's Degree required, with a strong preference for a Master's degree or equivalent experience.

• Engineering background is preferred.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, GCP, and Data Science, with hands-on coding capabilities.

• Knowledge of LLM-based systems, prompt design, and frameworks for evaluating AI models.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and observability tools (such as Amplitude, Datadog, Looker) to evaluate reliability and performance.

• Strong data reconciliation skills across extensive, multi-source datasets.

• A tendency towards first-principles thinking—questioning assumptions, stress-testing processes, and consistently asking why things function as they do.

• Excellent communicator with senior leadership and external partners.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building from the ground up.
