Lead Encompass Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily administration of Encompass, which includes managing users, personas, permissions, business rules, forms, templates, updates for investors and programs, as well as addressing support requests.

• Create and implement business rules and automate workflows to minimize manual tasks, decrease cycle times, and enhance data integrity.

• Manage TPO Connect and third-party integrations, encompassing configuration, testing, and vendor collaboration.

• Establish and uphold platform standards regarding naming conventions, documentation, change control, and production testing processes.

• Lead the enhancement roadmap in collaboration with Operations, Underwriting, Closing, Compliance, and Sales teams.

• Evaluate and prioritize requests, gauge their impact, and deliver necessary enhancements.

• Collaborate with engineering on the custom TPO platform, focusing on data mapping, ensuring workflow consistency, testing, and implementation.

• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving production issues.

• Conduct root cause analyses and manage vendor escalations until issues are resolved.

• Maintain configurations, access, and modifications in an audit-ready state.

• Assist with compliance reviews and examinations.

• Provide training to users on significant changes and document configurations accordingly.

• Establish standards, evaluate complex configuration tasks, and mentor both administrators and power users.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience administering Encompass in a mortgage lending setting.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with personas, permissions, custom fields, input forms, templates, business rules, and workflow automation.

• Experience in administering TPO Connect or supporting a TPO channel.

• Proven track record of managing system changes from start to finish, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.

• Familiarity with mortgage operations spanning from Processing to Closing.

• Preference for candidates with Non-QM or wholesale lending experience.

• Encompass Administrator certification or another ICE Mortgage Technology certification is highly desirable.

• Strong systems thinking capabilities with an ability to evaluate impacts across workflows, reports, and downstream teams.

• Experience in managing production incidents from initial triage through to root cause analysis, vendor escalation, and resolution.

• Exceptional communication skills with operators, executives, and engineers.
