This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Temporary Document Review Team Lead.
• Offer strategic leadership and direction on intricate case reviews and document review projects.
• Focus on substantive interactions with case materials by analyzing documents, synthesizing essential findings, and guiding reviewers.
• Coordinate and assist review attorneys, ensuring the effective and high-quality execution of eDiscovery initiatives.
• Engage with case content, swiftly identify critical issues, and effectively communicate insights to both reviewers and stakeholders.
• Take ownership at the project level, including creating custom workflows, defining review populations, and supervising productions.
• Deeply engage with case materials to comprehend and synthesize key points.
• Formulate and implement document review strategies that align with case goals.
• Provide support and guidance to reviewers on complex issues and case content.
• Lead and manage a team of document review attorneys, offering guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
• Oversee all facets of the review process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with eDiscovery Best Practices.
• Analyze and code documents for relevance, privilege, and other significant factors as needed.
• Conduct regular audits, give feedback, and assist in individual training programs for reviewers and team leads.
• Monitor and track project progress to ensure timelines are adhered to and deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, providing updates, and managing client relationships concerning review projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, eDiscovery best practices, and legal developments to continually enhance processes and services.
• Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring that the review process aligns with their requirements.
• Take part in recruitment efforts to expand the review attorney team, including interviewing and selecting new candidates.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the bar in good standing.
• Over 5 years of experience in eDiscovery and document review, with proven expertise in managing review projects.
• Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant domain.
• Proficient analytical and synthesis skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven history of successfully managing and motivating teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Relativity, including: Complex Search creation and optimization, Dashboard Management, Metrics Tracking and Reporting, and the construction and maintenance of detailed workflows.
• Experience with Active Learning.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, and support staff.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and legal requirements within the eDiscovery sector.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and a client-focused approach to project management.
