This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and enhance resilient, secure CI/CD pipelines, data integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for project-focused deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to effectively integrate, automate, and monitor security tool components within automated workflows.
• Establish guidelines and standards for AWS Cloud and Kubernetes environments, implementing sophisticated solutions for system security, backups, and redundancy.
• Advocate for a DevSecOps culture by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, educating teams on contemporary tools, and addressing intricate configuration or performance challenges.
• Utilize Generative AI engineering tools (including Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to expedite the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), pipeline scripts, and automation workflows.
• Enhance cloud infrastructure and container ecosystems to ensure cost-effectiveness, scalability, and strict compliance with governance standards.
• Promote engineering excellence by leading the creation of detailed technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
• BA/BS Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or a comparable combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and managing scalable AWS Cloud infrastructure.
• Practical experience in deploying or supporting Generative AI development workflows, with particular knowledge of AWS Bedrock or similar cloud-native AI/ML services.
• Strong expertise in deploying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Docker, container registries, and secure build tools like Kaniko.
• Extensive hands-on experience in building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code configurations with Terraform.
• Proven record in designing and implementing comprehensive CI/CD pipelines, automated security gates, and advanced Git version control workflows.
• High proficiency in automation scripting (Ansible, Bash, or Python) and Linux/Unix system administration (RHEL or CentOS preferred).
• Current Security+ Certification and knowledge of government standards for security, identity, and data management (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, IAM).
