Lead Developer – Infrastructure as Code, IaC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead and primary developer for the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) service.

• Take ownership of the architecture, code organization, and overall technical strategy.

• Engage directly with automation code, including Ansible, Python, and scripting.

• Collaborate effectively with the Service Owner and various stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and support to fellow contributors through technical mentoring and code reviews.

• Facilitate automated provisioning and management of infrastructure using code.

• Ensure rapid and reproducible deployment of testing and engineering environments.

• Implement standardization, security enhancements, and policy-driven configurations from the outset.

• Optimize hardware usage through on-demand environments.

• Solid background in infrastructure automation and platform engineering.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Proficient in Windows-based environments.

• Possess an engineering mindset focused on structure, quality, and maintainability.

• Capable of taking technical ownership and collaborating across teams.

• Experience with security hardening and policy-driven infrastructure setups is a plus.

• Familiarity with DevOps or SecDevOps practices in enterprise settings is advantageous.
