Lead Developer – Early Stage AI Workflow Startup

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and creation of a commercial AI workflow product intended for actual clients.

• Design and implement backend-focused web services.

• Make decisions regarding technology and architecture.

• Engage with authentication systems, databases, APIs, and integrations.

• Develop interfaces with Claude and other LLM services.

• Enhance, replace, or extend the existing codebase.

• Transform feedback from pilot customers into product enhancements.

• Facilitate the transition from a functional state to one that is stable enough for scaling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in building and launching web services, tools, applications, or platforms that have been utilized by real customers.

• Knowledge of backend development, architecture, APIs, authentication, database migrations, and production reliability.

• Focus on the end user experience, beyond just the code.

• Self-motivated, constructively opinionated, and capable of working without detailed instructions.

• Take responsibility for your work and communicate effectively in English.

• Proficiency in Finnish is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with LLMs, Claude, OpenAI, and/or AI workflow tools is a significant plus.

• A strong willingness to learn quickly is essential.
