Lead Decision Engine Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and rigorously test modifications to the customer acquisition and underwriting decision engines to enhance origination volume and loan performance.

• Create and uphold a comprehensive suite of unit and regression test cases to ensure the precision of modifications made to the customer acquisition and underwriting decision engines.

• Oversee the performance metrics of the decision engines.

• Establish decision performance metrics and create automated reporting and alerting mechanisms using SQL and Python.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement changes in marketing or underwriting strategies, oversee releases, and conduct impact assessments.

• Present clear and actionable business strategy recommendations to senior management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (such as mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, or other quantitative disciplines).

• 4+ years of professional experience in a Business Analyst or Quality Assurance role.

• 2+ years of experience utilizing Python and SQL for data analysis in a professional environment.

• Proficient SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, including query writing, along with a familiarity with various database systems.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to efficiently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, comprehend project requirements with minimal supervision, and follow through to successful completion.
