Lead Data Scientist – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of forecasting models to enhance prediction accuracy and improve business outcomes.

• Construct and implement advanced **Deep Learning** models for extensive structured and unstructured datasets.

• Create **Generative AI / Explainable AI** solutions to furnish transparent and interpretable insights from predictive models.

• Examine healthcare datasets, including claims, patient, provider, operational, and clinical data.

• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to convert business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

• Oversee model performance, retrain models, and optimize algorithms for production settings.

• Guide junior data scientists and offer technical leadership throughout the project.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare data privacy and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles.

• Strong practical expertise in **Forecasting models** (time series, demand forecasting, predictive analytics).

• Experience with **Deep Learning frameworks** such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

• Demonstrated experience in building **Generative AI / Explainability models** using LLMs, SHAP, LIME, or similar frameworks.

• Essential experience working within the **Healthcare domain**.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python, SQL, and ML libraries.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

• Outstanding stakeholder communication and leadership abilities.
