This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Take ownership of experimentation, which is central to this role. Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to design, execute, and analyze growth experiments β from formulating the hypothesis and determining the test size to interpreting results and driving decisions. Apply rigor (power analysis, causal inference, guardrail metrics) in a rapidly evolving business environment.
β’ Develop the reporting infrastructure. Manage the essential dashboards and self-service tools utilized by the segment, enhancing an AI-powered reporting system that already automates much of the routine tasks. Your responsibility is to present performance metrics clearly for executives.
β’ Provide insights, not just analysis. Deconstruct revenue and margin performance into key drivers - volume, mix, pricing, cohort behavior - and proactively inform us about sources of growth, areas of leakage, and recommended actions.
β’ Maintain a robust data foundation. Oversee collaboration with our central Data Engineering team to ensure that the segment's core data models and pipelines effectively support analytics.
β’ Refine the forecasting process. Assist Strategic Finance with driver-based revenue forecasting analytics, linking operational indicators to financial outcomes.
β’ A minimum of 6 years in data science, growth analytics, or quantitative business roles, with substantial expertise in experimentation and causal inference β you have designed and implemented tests that influenced business decisions.
β’ Proficient in SQL and Python, with the ability to work directly with large, imperfect datasets independently.
β’ A proven ability to operate autonomously: defining ambiguous questions, prioritizing your own roadmap, and driving initiatives to conclusion without close supervision.
β’ Exceptional communication skills suitable for executive audiences: you can explain to a GM why a metric has changed and recommend actions in straightforward language.
β’ Strong business acumen: you comprehend how growth, product usage, and operational factors relate to revenue and contribution margin.
β’ Customer-centric mindset: you instinctively ground your analysis in how actual practitioners and patients engage with the product, viewing their behavior as crucial for sound decision-making.
β’ Experience in large-scale marketplace, eCommerce, SaaS, or healthcare businesses.
β’ Bonus points if you possess:
β’ Experience collaborating with FP&A or strategic finance teams.
β’ Experience in constructing metric trees or driver-based performance frameworks.
β’ Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, agents) integrated into your analytics processes.
β’ Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
β’ Experience in mentoring or managing analysts.
β’ Remote-first flexibility, allowing you to work where you are most effective, with a preference for candidates in Ottawa, Toronto, or Calgary.
β’ Flexible paid time off (PTO) and competitive compensation, emphasizing work-life balance.
β’ RRSP/401k matching and stock options to secure your financial future.
β’ Comprehensive benefits package with customizable coverage, paramedical services, and a health savings account (HSA).
β’ Discounts on Fullscript for high-quality wellness products.
β’ Opportunities for continuous learning to develop your skills and advance your career.
