Lead Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Supervise the creation, development, and execution of scalable scoring models.

• Partner with the Credit team to establish data science strategies.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.

• Convey complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

• Set up rigorous testing and validation procedures.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate data science results.

• Demonstrated success in creating and validating credit models.

• Proficiency in regression, classification, ensemble methods, and time-series forecasting.

• Strong skills in Python (or R) and SQL.

• Practical experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch.

• Experience in building and managing robust data pipelines.

• Familiarity with deploying machine learning models in production environments.

• Proficient in visualization tools like Tableau.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
