Lead Data Engineer, Snowflake – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee data engineering initiatives and steer architectural choices for the Data Platform.

• Create, develop, and enhance scalable Data Warehouses and data workflows utilizing Snowflake.

• Implement, monitor, and maintain dependable data pipelines within a production setting.

• Serve as a connection between Data Engineering and DevOps by setting up and managing AWS infrastructure.

• Streamline infrastructure and application deployments through Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

• Operate independently while promoting teamwork, mentoring colleagues, and upholding best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer in a Senior role.

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership or technical management.

• Extensive and relevant expertise with Snowflake, Data Warehouses, and Data Platforms.

• Strong foundation in developing and sustaining complex ETL/ELT data pipelines in a production environment.

• Practical DevOps perspective with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS).

• Proficient with Terraform or Docker, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent skills with Git and contemporary development workflows.

• Experience in the Pharma sector is advantageous.
