Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Create and implement storage solutions.

• Develop and manage data transformations for efficient storage.

• Establish and oversee data pipelines to ensure optimal, efficient, and reliable data flow.

• Build and maintain sophisticated BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp their requirements and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Supervise other Data Engineers within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar capacity in complex environments.

• Proficient in SQL and scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks.

• Demonstrated history of working with data warehousing solutions, such as Azure Fabric.

• Experience with interactive BI dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools.

• Extensive experience with cloud services.
