This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and execution of sophisticated data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
• Direct the technical implementation of intricate data projects across various teams.
• Convert complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Enhance data platforms for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Uphold data governance, security, and quality standards.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and offer technical leadership on projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise objectives.
• Propel advancements in automation, efficiency, and platform capabilities.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to design choices.
• Act as a point of escalation for challenging data engineering issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6–8+ years of data engineering experience with enterprise-level platforms.
• Advanced skills in Snowflake, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Significant experience with AWS and contemporary data platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
• Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Consistent high-speed internet with a wired connection for remote work.
