Lead Data Architect – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold standards, principles, and roadmaps for enterprise-wide data architecture.

• Create scalable data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and lake-house architectures.

• Direct architectural decisions for both batch and real-time data processing.

• Ensure that data architecture aligns with the overall business strategy.

• Design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines and solutions for data integration.

• Provide guidance on the design and implementation of streaming and event-driven architectures.

• Evaluate and authorize data designs, models, and solutions.

• Implement and uphold practices for data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

• Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

• Define standards for data lineage, access control, and audit-ability.

• Lead cloud and hybrid data architecture initiatives across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Promote cloud-native, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions.

• Serve as the principal authority on data architecture across various programs and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise systems.

• A minimum of 10 years of overall relevant experience.

• Proven expertise in designing enterprise-scale data platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of data modeling, integration, and processing patterns.

• Practical experience with modern cloud data platforms.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
