Lead Cyber Security Engineer – Nuclear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluating Critical Digital Asset (CDA) assessments and determinations for technical precision.

• Handling associated plant corrective actions and notifications.

• Verifying the configuration of devices installed at the site in accordance with network diagrams and system documentation.

• Assisting in the installation of software and hardware on plant digital systems.

• Executing tasks to modify device settings for the implementation of cyber security controls.

• Providing technical support as requested by the Digital Engineering and Cyber Security supervisors.

• Carrying out additional tasks related to Cyber Security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 10 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems, along with a broad understanding of Cyber Security topics and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems.

• Prior experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control systems is preferred.

• Proven expertise in nuclear power cyber security.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not mandatory.

• A fundamental understanding of cyber security, the concept of a cyber security operation center, and knowledge of networks is essential.

• Ability to respond to and update requests promptly.

• Experience in designing or implementing networks would be advantageous.
