Lead Customer Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• The Tendering Engineer for Substation Automation facilitates business expansion by producing precise, competitive, and compliant proposals for substation automation, protection, control, combined with Telecom and M&D systems.

• Oversee the complete bidding process related to Grid Automation, from evaluating client requests to delivering proposals.

• Emphasize the interpretation of customer needs, defining optimized technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with both standards and commercial goals.

• Work alongside internal stakeholders and external collaborators to create cost models, evaluate risks, and refine scope and delivery.

• Play a vital role in securing profitable projects through disciplined tender governance and sound technical judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in tendering, commercial, and engineering functions.

• In-depth knowledge and comprehension of the Grid Automation Business (Protection and DCS/SCS expertise is essential).

• Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.

• Willingness to reside in Istanbul, Kocaeli, or Pakistan.

• Readiness to travel 10-15% in international regions.

• Knowledge of Telecom and M&D is an advantage.

• Familiarity with MENAT customer requirements and specifications.

• Comfort in hybrid working environments.

• Understanding of commercial contracting guidelines.

• Proactive mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in French, Arabic, or Turkish is a plus.
