Lead Counsel, Commercial & Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate global commercial negotiations with enterprise clients, strategic partners, vendors, and channel associates.

• Act as a legal consultant on strategic commercial agreements that involve security, privacy, compliance, product, and operational risk factors.

• Assist in designing, implementing, operationalizing, and enhancing Tines’ global compliance and governance initiatives.

• Develop scalable legal and compliance processes, templates, training materials, internal guidance, and self-service resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

• Over 7 years of pertinent legal experience, including substantial experience either in-house or at a law firm supporting technology firms.

• Experience in supporting global legal, compliance, privacy, and/or governance projects.

• Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and the expectations of enterprise customers.

• Capability to weigh legal risks against practical business considerations in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
