This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Leverage consulting and technical expertise to operate independently in a client-facing project environment.
• Take ownership of your execution and, at times, lead specific work streams on client projects as assigned under the supervision of the engagement lead.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate directly and efficiently with internal teams as well as client and/or partner teams.
• Assume full responsibility for your execution on client engagements, becoming involved in both project planning and solution development stages.
• Design and implement intricate ETL/ELT pipelines demonstrating improved data processing times.
• Successfully manage small data warehousing projects, achieving measurable performance improvements under the guidance of an engagement lead.
• Contribute to solutions for real-time data processing and manage streaming data effectively.
• Implement security and compliance protocols for data pipelines.
• Design and apply version control and branching strategies, integrating them into CI/CD processes for promoting and testing in higher environments.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and big data, including at least 2 years of direct interaction with clients and external stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data warehousing principles and practical experience in deploying pipelines using Databricks *A must*.
• Proficient in data modeling and database design, with a solid understanding of version control.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of applying technical skills to meet engagement requirements.
• Collaborates with engagement leads and directors to gain insight into the design and architecture of solutions.
• Familiar with Lovelytics tools and client tools.
