Lead Consultant, Business Software – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops to assess, organize, and enhance business requirements within the public sector.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders for digitalization and transformation initiatives.

• Create target visions, functional concepts, and solution architectures for intricate public administration projects.

• Take into account regulatory, organizational, and process-related factors when developing solutions.

• Assess and recommend appropriate products and components from the OpenText portfolio.

• Work closely with PreSales, Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

• Assist in the definition, documentation, validation, and ongoing development of customer requirements and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Public Administration IT, or a relevant qualification.

• Several years of experience in the public sector or in projects for governmental agencies and public administration organizations.

• Strong understanding of administrative processes, organizational frameworks, and regulatory requirements within the public sector.

• Capability to translate business needs into technical solution strategies and effectively communicate technical relationships.

• Experience in Document Management Systems (DMS), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), digital records, workflow systems, or industry-specific applications is a plus.

• Ideally possess knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, Python, or similar technologies.

• Excellent consulting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Willingness to travel within Germany.
