This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as a vital member of the Fossil Americas team, contributing to the achievement of commitments, orders, sales, cash flow, operating profit, and margin objectives.
• Collaborate with the Fossil Americas Sales team to lead the proposal generation and contract formulation process for upgrades, repairs, and site services projects.
• Partner with relevant sales, operations, and other functional teams during the deal development and review phases.
• Organize and oversee the Deal Team review process in conjunction with leaders, subject matter experts, approvers, and functional teams.
• Tasked with minimizing cost-of-quality issues that arise from inaccurate or poorly defined scopes, costing, or contract drafting throughout the process.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Over 3 years of experience in Sales/Commercial Operations or a graduate of the GE leadership program with two commercial assignments or projects, including field, estimating, or proposal experience within the Energy and/or Industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with Turbines, Generators, and Core Services in Power Plants.
• Proven experience in estimating and managing proposals that range from low to highly complex.
• Capability to establish and implement priorities and plans independently.
• Strong technical and commercial communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in effectively engaging with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Effective time management skills and the capacity to work across various functions.
• Ability to operate independently and exhibit self-initiative.
• A mindset focused on customer service, continuous improvement (LEAN), and solutions-oriented thinking.
