Lead Cloud Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement automation solutions for containerized environments while spearheading the transition of microservices to our EKS/AKS golden platform.

• Oversee the migration process of monolithic Ruby on Rails applications to containerized setups on EKS/AKS.

• Participate in the assessment and development of new tools, approaches, and technical innovations.

• Create and enhance the architecture and delivery methods of our Cloud platform.

• Develop sophisticated tools utilizing Terraform, Ruby, YAML, and various scripting languages to advance our operational capabilities.

• Lead design initiatives for the AWS platform in partnership with Cloud and Application Architecture teams.

• Maintain high service visibility for AWS-hosted applications using New Relic and similar monitoring frameworks.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in Cloud Operations Support / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• A critical thinker who is resourceful and a problem-solver, with a strong passion for leveraging technology to enhance work life.

• Proven experience with Cloud/SaaS architecture, specifically on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms, is essential.

• Capability to work independently on complex projects.

• Enthusiastic about going the extra mile to support the team.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Ruby, Python, or any object-oriented programming language, along with scripting skills.

• Experience in problem-solving and analyzing distributed systems on a global scale.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
