This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Commissioning and optimizing Building Management Systems (BMS) at various customer locations.

• Programming and adjusting BMS software, control strategies, and graphical user interfaces.

• Diagnosing and resolving intricate BMS software, hardware, and communication issues.

• Assisting with functional testing, system validation, and commissioning tasks.

• Offering technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Mentoring less experienced engineers by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.

• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Service Engineers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation as necessary.

• Identifying technical risks and proposing effective solutions.

• Ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and customer expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation, or HVAC Controls.

• Extensive experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting BMS installations.

• Proficient in programming BMS control strategies and graphical user interfaces.

• Experience with Automated Logic (ALC) is preferred; however, experience with other BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls will also be taken into account.

• Strong understanding of BMS hardware, controllers, and field devices.

• Good knowledge of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, and N2.

• Capability to interpret engineering drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally, primarily within Europe, as business needs arise.
