Lead Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable and secure systems and APIs that drive impactful applications.

• Assume responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualizing the architecture of new features to overseeing their implementation.

• Lead by example by writing high-performance, thoroughly tested code that adheres to our stringent standards for reliability and scalability.

• Establish and uphold best practices regarding code quality, design patterns, testing, and system performance.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate issues in production settings.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in object-oriented backend development utilizing languages such as C#.

• Demonstrated ability to design, construct, and scale distributed systems in Cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive automated test suites, including unit, integration, and performance tests.

• A robust history of mentoring engineers and leading code and design reviews.

• A proactive attitude with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
