Lead Back-End Engineer – Sanity Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Establish the back-end architecture, hosting strategy, and comprehensive development plan for intricate web applications.

• Lead the implementation and migration of CMS systems, including content modeling and the design of ETL processes.

• Create and sustain scalable REST and GraphQL services to enhance contemporary front-end experiences.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage infrastructure, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting solutions.

• Take ownership of the server-side architecture, guaranteeing secure, high-performance, and scalable data delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive back-end engineering experience with technologies such as Node.js, Deno, or Bun, along with a robust foundation in TypeScript.

• In-depth knowledge of Sanity.io and experience with composable CMS platforms and content architecture.

• Strong comprehension of full-stack application design, particularly the interaction between back-end systems and React/Next.js front-ends.

• Familiarity with testing, automation, performance optimization, and best practices for security.

• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
