Lead Back-End Engineer, Advertising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Define the architecture for back-end systems, hosting strategies, and the overall development plan for intricate web applications.

• Lead the implementation and migration of CMS platforms, including the design of content models and ETL processes.

• Create and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL services to enhance modern front-end experiences.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage infrastructure, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting solutions.

• Take ownership of server-side architecture, ensuring secure, high-performance, and scalable data delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive back-end engineering experience with technologies such as Node.js, Deno, or Bun, complemented by a robust understanding of TypeScript.

• In-depth familiarity with Sanity.io, along with experience in composable CMS platforms and content architecture.

• Strong grasp of full-stack application design, particularly the interaction between back-end systems and React/Next.js front-ends.

• Proven experience with testing, automation, performance optimization, and adherence to security best practices.

• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
