Lead Auditor, CoC Forestry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Recommend certification or the continuation of certification for audited companies.

• Review and validate the scope of certification.

• Adhere to the provisions of global procedures regarding audits.

• Review clients' action plans related to addressing non-conformities (NCs).

• Develop audit plans.

• Plan, execute, report, and follow up on third-party audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least a secondary or higher education.

• Evidence of satisfactory completion of at least university education.

• A minimum of 4 years (FSC) of full-time experience in forestry and/or related industries.

• For PEFC COC: training must include or be supplemented with courses related to forestry and/or related industries.

• This specific training may be replaced by 2 years of work experience in these sectors if it is equivalent to the required education.

• Alternatively: Evidence of satisfactory completion of university education and at least 2 years of full-time experience in forestry and related industries.

• For PEFC COC, higher education must be suitable or relevant to forestry and/or related industries.

• In the absence of sufficient professional experience in the forestry products sector, the candidate must have professional experience as a registered ISO 9001 auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) or as a chain of custody auditor for certification systems.

• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.

• Understanding of texts in English.
