Lead Architect, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the architecture of PHP applications, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and maintainable.

• Facilitate technical planning and design discussions, influencing key technology and design choices.

• Work in collaboration with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to establish and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

• Ensure that applications comply with stringent security and regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle.

• Mentor and assist development teams by conducting code reviews and providing technical support.

• Investigate and incorporate emerging technologies to improve functionality, performance, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in PHP development and architecture, with in-depth knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, including MVC, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Expertise in relational databases (e.g., MySQL) along with skills in caching, load balancing, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.

• ***Preferred Qualifications***

• Practical experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization tools such as Docker.

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js, React) to assist with integrated architecture design.

• PHP Lead Architect certification or equivalent qualifications.
