This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
• Provide leadership and guidance for the design, testing, and implementation of intricate information systems and solutions.
• Create and adhere to project schedules, plans, and timelines.
• Develop, facilitate, and assess training sessions for staff, end-users, and Information Systems personnel.
• Engage in team projects and coordinate work assignments along with problem-resolution initiatives.
• Lead or assist in project management activities to provide business-oriented solutions.
• Offer advanced support for operating systems and software applications.
• Analyze, design, build, test, implement, deploy, and maintain computer programs and systems.
• Translate user and departmental information system requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for application development to enhance productivity and service levels.
• Establish and enforce standards for technical development, application support, and information management.
• Support applications in development projects and tackle complex problem-solving efforts.
• Participate in a rotating after-hours application support call schedule.
• Provide technical solutions and alternatives for resolving critical system issues.
• Prepare, conduct, and evaluate staff training, modifying materials as necessary.
• Deliver courteous and effective customer service while resolving customer inquiries or requests.
• Submit weekly activity reports and update the Manager regarding project and assignment statuses.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Manager.
• Foster safe, compassionate, personalized, and efficient experiences for patients, staff, visitors, and colleagues.
• Associate degree and five (5) years of relevant experience; or six (6) years of experience in place of a degree.
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in large corporate systems development and implementation activities.
• Experience with Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Preferred experience in system design, build, testing, and implementation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and support the resolution of complex problems.
• Experience in directing other analysts.
• A demonstrated history of successfully completing tasks and projects.
• Ability to mentor team members and other analysts.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Industry training and progressively responsible experience with knowledge and skills related to large, complex corporate information systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of application support, development tools, and methodologies.
• No licenses or certifications are required.
• Ability to participate in a rotating after-hours application support schedule.
