Lead Angular Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design and create new features utilizing contemporary Angular.

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and reusable UI components and libraries.

• Work collaboratively with Product Owners, UX partners, Architects, and fellow engineers.

• Create software that adheres to code quality and security standards.

• Engage in test-driven development and produce automated tests.

• Attain operational excellence by writing maintainable and supportable code.

• Partner with backend engineers to integrate with GraphQL and REST/OpenAPI services.

• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.

• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure ongoing stability and assist with troubleshooting.

• Maintain documentation for compliance and training purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over six years of engineering or relevant IT experience.

• Advanced proficiency in modern Angular (versions 19, 20, 21).

• Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional software design principles.

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive design, and component-driven UI development.

• Experience with GraphQL (Apollo) and REST/OpenAPI services.

• Familiarity with modern frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library, Playwright).

• Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3/CloudFront, ECS).

• Previous experience with Git and GitHub.

• Comprehension of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to tackle complex technical challenges.
