Lead AI Software Architect/Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of AI processes, workflows, models, and applications.

• Create and implement innovative AI processes, agentic workflows, and scalable AI infrastructures.

• Lead interdisciplinary engineering teams and provide mentorship to developers.

• Develop large-scale, high-availability AI applications using contemporary programming languages (Python, Java, Go).

• Collaborate on the integration of platform services across various Revvity products.

• Work alongside functional teams to identify and execute impactful AI workflow transformations.

• Create customized tools, agents, and automations that cater to specific business requirements.

• Guide teams through a progressive AI adoption journey: from awareness to initial wins, full transformation, and eventual self-sufficiency.

• Document and disseminate successful strategies throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5-10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML infrastructure and LLM application development.

• Proficient in Python and Java programming at an expert level.

• Proven experience with distributed frameworks such as Dask, Spark, Ray, and familiarity with AWS.

• Track record of successfully building AI tools that have significantly improved real-world processes.

• Strong coaching and teaching skills, with a track record of empowering others.
