Lead AI Engineer, Robotics Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Taking ownership of the product's AI/ML core, collaborating closely with the CTO & Co-founder to ensure alignment with the overall technical strategy.

• Engaging in hands-on development and prototyping: constructing the AI/ML components of the MVP (overseeing the complete AI/ML model lifecycle, from architectural design to training and fine-tuning, and where applicable, hardware control interfaces).

• Suggesting and assisting in the definition of the AI/ML stack and model architecture.

• Keeping abreast of AI, computer vision, and robotics trends to sustain a competitive technological advantage.

• Collaborating closely with the CTO and, as the team expands, guiding engineers who join the AI/ML function.

• Converting customer feedback and market requirements into effective AI/ML technical specifications.

• Contributing to a company culture that emphasizes code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and high execution standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience across the complete AI/ML development pipeline, encompassing data collection and processing, architectural design, training, and fine-tuning.

• Experience in Computer Vision is highly advantageous.

• Robust software engineering background with a proven track record in developing and delivering AI/ML components in real-world products.

• Entrepreneurial mindset – you recognize that pragmatic execution and swift delivery are more valuable than perfect, over-engineered code in an early-stage environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-uncertainty settings.

• Proficiency in Polish and English (both spoken and written).
