Lead AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of the AI architecture and engineering roadmap for Agentic AI platforms.

• Design and implement scalable, production-quality AI solutions.

• Manage AI platform services, backend APIs, microservices, MLOps, observability, and cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with clients to translate their business requirements into AI solutions and facilitate architecture discussions.

• Mentor AI engineers, perform design and code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

• Oversee multiple engineering teams, ensuring effective delivery, risk management, and technical planning.

• Assess and integrate emerging AI technologies and frameworks.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for clients.

• Shape the AI roadmap and guarantee successful project delivery.

• Supervise various engineering pods and collaborate with client leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in leading AI/ML engineering teams.

• Proven experience in building and deploying enterprise AI platforms on AWS.

• Strong client-facing skills with expertise in solution architecture and cross-functional leadership.

• Proficient in Python at an expert level.

• Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Guardrails, and MLOps.

• Experience with Golang, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming.

• Proficiency with AWS services such as Bedrock/AgentCore, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.

• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.

• Skills in client-facing consulting, architecture design, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS Bedrock, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, AI Copilots, AI Observability, Enterprise SaaS, and large-scale distributed systems.
