Lead AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee initiatives in artificial intelligence and machine learning engineering.

• Create and implement solutions utilizing deep learning, generative AI, and large language models.

• Design systems for prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.

• Develop and oversee embeddings and vector database solutions.

• Fine-tune, train, validate, and assess machine learning models.

• Execute MLOps, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and AI model deployment.

• Build REST APIs and microservices.

• Collaborate with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Enforce security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.

• Engage actively within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

• Proficient in Deep Learning methodologies.

• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI).

• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Skills in Prompt Engineering.

• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Experience with Embeddings and Vector Databases.

• Ability to fine-tune LLMs.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks.

• Knowledge of Scikit-learn.

• Competence in Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering.

• Skills in Model Training, Validation, and Evaluation.

• Understanding of Statistics and ML Algorithms.

• Experience with MLOps.

• Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines.

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience in AI Model Deployment and Productionization.

• Knowledge of Security, Privacy, and Responsible AI practices.

• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Preferred experience in the retail domain.

• Preferred experience in Enterprise Transformation projects.

• Preferred knowledge of Model Governance.

• Preferred skills in Stakeholder Management.

• Excellent Communication Skills are preferred.
